Each month, Shirlí runs workshops and events in all areas connected to health and happiness.
Sometimes she’s flying solo, other times she invites experts in their field to join her. Her mission is always to inform and to educate her participants in a light hearted and fun way.
This 1 day retreat includes yoga and meditation, as well as information based on the findings of Dr. Wayne Todd in relation to how our nervous system works and sometimes gets stuck in the sympathetic dominant mode (fight or flight mode). I feel that most of us are walking around at best feeling overwhelmed all the way to the other end of the scary scale of anxiousness and depression.
Welcome to a yoga retreat with a twist! I love yoga, I love horses, I love nature and I love fun! So I created this really for me but I’m hoping some of you will come along too! Take a Rest in the Wild West! From Friday to Sunday indulge in yoga, meditation, horse-riding and maybe some Gin!
Meridian lines are part of traditional Chinese medicine and also a part of Yin Yoga. These are the energetic pathways of our bodies. If they become stagnant or stuck it prevents the flow of chi and chi is what is thought to support our natural health and wellbeing.

I would be lying if I said all students were keen to participate. I did have to coerce many of our male Rugby students through the door. However, I wish I could bottle up their gratitude and appreciation for yoga when they were leaving the class.

As team leader for World Skills Ireland, I contacted Shirlí to assist with the team’s preparation before their competition in Abu Dhabi. During their session with Shirlí they learned techniques to help them feel calm and in control which they implemented at the World Skills event. Shirlí was definitely able to connect with the team.
