Everyone faces loss at one time or another—it’s a substantial part of the human experience.  It may arise when you lose a family member, friend, or beloved pet.  Grief may be part of the heartache of a divorce. You may grieve the loss of youth, or perhaps you grieve the life you aspired to live or the child you planned to someday nurture.

My goal is to provide you with an opportunity to practice self compassion, to take time to be present with and to process your feelings.

We will achieve this through gentle movement, meditation, chant & sound healing.

I am blessed to live in a 200 year old stone cottage with a stream running alongside it in the tranquility of Camlough mountain.  I have a purpose built venue to the side for our gathering. 

🧘 Our evening will begin with gentle yoga movements, suitable for everyone including those with no yoga experience.  These movements will open up the front of the body which becomes contracted and tight during trauma and grief.


🙏 We will then practice a meditation called Tonglen.  I have turned to this practice every time I’ve suffered great loss and it has always helped to ease my suffering.


🎙️ Following this you can listen or sing/hum along to the Akal chant – A beautiful mantra to aid with the grieving process. Akal is a mantra for the ‘undying soul’ and is believed to help with the transition of a passing soul in the first 7 days of passing or at any time in the future.

🎶 We will then rest in a comfortable reclined position as Peter takes over and soothes our souls with the sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls, The Planetary Earth Gong, Crystal Bowls, Koshi Chimes & Shamanic Drum.

Sound healing is a form of healing that uses different vibrations to heal the body, mind and spirit. It works on two principles: That different emotions vibrate at different levels, and that blocked, or unexpressed emotions, are the main source of dis-ease.

9:20pm     Akal Chant 
9:40pm     Moon Gazing & Bathroom Break
10:00pm   Sound Healing
11:00pm   Closing with an option to stay for tea/coffee
