Mental health awareness week was established in 1990 to educate and increase awareness surrounding mental illness. It takes place this year from Sunday 4th October to Saturday 10th October 2020.
I am delighted to be a part of the Giggles Early Years mental health awareness week schedule.
Tune in on Wednesday evening at 8pm via zoom to learn the tools and techniques you can implement straight away to help support your mental health during these particularly stressful times.
I will explain how we can impact our nervous system through our body posture and our thoughts. Breathing exercises to bring you down from ‘fight or flight’ mode to ‘rest and repair’ mode. Simple daily mindfulness practices that will interrupt your ‘monkey mind’ and the endless cycle of anxious thoughts. I will also teach a beginners meditation and tips on how to implement a daily meditation practice.
Everyone is welcome to attend. There is NO FEE for this event.
