The Breath Series – Ocean Breathing

In this video we practice Ocean breathing also known as Ujjayi breathing.

It falls into the ‘water category’ of breathing as we breathe in for a count of 4 and out for a count of 4.

We massage the Vagus nerve with this breathing practice which helps to calm the nervous system.

We also bring ourselves very much into the present moment as we make our ocean sound.
