Saturday 10th December 2022, 2.00pm – 4:00pm
Felda Gym, Dundalk, Co.Louth

🧘 Yin yoga can be an excellent tool for relieving tight hips.
🧘 Tight hips create movement dysfunctions that stress the lower back and the knees leading to pain and discomfort in these areas.
🧘 During this 2 hour session we will focus solely on the hips holding our stretches anywhere from 2-5 minutes allowing us to target the fascia surrounding the hip joints.
🧘 This is when the magic happens! By releasing the fascia we begin to create greater range of motion in the joint which frees up the pressure on the lower back and knees.

My inspiration for this session is to provide you with an opportunity to slow down and reset bringing balance back to the body, mind and soul.

My sessions are always informative (I have 10+ years experience teaching), suitable for all abilities (I offer modifications) and light hearted (I like to have fun!)

This event takes place in a quiet, warm, candlelit purpose built studio in Felda Gym.  There is free parking onsite along with a cafe, spa and hair salon.

Q.1 Do I need to have yoga experience or great flexibility?

No.  Yin yoga is a slow paced form of yoga and most of the stretches will be done seated or in a supine position.  I offer lots of modifications to suit all abilities.

Q.2 What should I wear?

Something that is warm and comfy.  As the pace is slow you won’t be generating much heat.  The room is cosy however!

Q.3 What should I bring?

I provide everything you will need in terms of equipment however if you would like to bring your own mat, please do or a blanket for relaxatioin.

Q.4 How do I get there?

Felda is very easy to find, located on the main Dublin road from Dundalk to Castlebellingham, next to the Fairways hotel and Supervalu.  If you enter ‘Felda Health Fitness & Spa’ into Google maps, it will bring you to the door!

” Shirli is an amazing teacher. She comes across as genuine, caring, and interested in your well being. Because she is.
